Well, not quite, but America’s disenchantment with sugary goodness* is spelling trouble for the manufacturer (and possibly bankruptcy).
* Note: I don’t actually like Twinkies…too “yellow”-tasting. Now if Peeps were to become financially unstable *that* would make me really sad.

oddly enough, i can sort of imagine what you’re talking about. even though i don’t have the — how you say? — synaesthesia that you may have.

I think they are …witness C2 Coke and “low-carb pepsi” (remains to be seen whether these will be effective adaptations)?

I don’t think I have synaethsia proper… most tastes are just tastes to me *and* when I do experience cross-over it’s not consistent like it is for true synaesthetes (sp?), but mixed ..soemtimes tastes are colors and sometimes shapes, for instance. I do have a rather vivid imagination and anthropomorphize just about every damn thing.
(Which is why 9 is a nice number, but a little odd and hard to understand sometimes.)
