it’s no joke
The group I worked in up until recently had a hand in developing the Hoot ‘n’ Holler solution. I never actually worked on it, but from what I understand, it’s basically a way that whoever shouts the loudest gets to communicate. Or something like that. The brokerage firms use this sort of thing for trading, and Cisco designed a solution using VoIP to do the same thing.
